16 October 2023 - The second Southeast Asia Cybersecurity Consortium (SEACC) Forum was held at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT@NYP), Singapore. Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communication and Information Mr. Kiat How Tan gracing the event as the Guest of Honour.
All 10 SEACC members were in attendance, representing a diverse range of organizations dedicated to enhancing and promoting cybersecurity in the region. These included the Brunei Cyber Security Association (BCSA), ISAC-Cambodia (InfoSec), Indonesian ICT Business Association (APTIKNAS), Thailand Information Security Association (TISA), Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA), WiSAP (Women in Security Alliance Philippines), and the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Siti Hamisah Tapsir, President of MBOT, delivered a compelling discourse on the importance of community of practice within the cybersecurity field.
