25 SEPTEMBER - The Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) participated in the ASEAN Plus Three Industrial Chain & Supply Chain Partnering Conference held on 25th to 26th September 2024 in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event aimed to enhance industrial and supply chain integration among ASEAN, China, Japan, and South Korea (APT region), fostering cooperation for interconnected development.
During the event, Ts. Ir. Yam Teong Sian, MBOT Board Member, represented MBOT in a symbolic partnership ceremony. This significant moment underscored MBOT's commitment to fostering international collaboration and strengthening ties within the ASEAN Plus Three framework.
Meanwhile, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS), delivered an insightful speech on the China-ASEAN Technical Cooperation Program, emphasising the importance of technical collaboration between the regions. This conference aligned with the objectives set forth during the 26th ASEAN Plus Three Leaders’ Meeting in 2023.
