27 FEBRUARY 2025 - With the theme "Redefining The Future: Leading Tech Talent Amidst Global Shifts," the C-Suite Roundtable session aims to gather valuable insights from key industry players. The outcome of this discussion will be consolidated into a white paper to be shared with relevant stakeholders as a strategic guideline. The session was launched by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation.
This session focused on strategies to develop, retain and attract tech talent in the face of global shifts, advancing technologies and evolving work dynamics. It also highlighted the importance of collaboration among industry, academia and government to strengthen the future workforce while ensuring a resilient, innovative and inclusive technology ecosystem.
The event was further enriched by a special guest, Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria, Chairperson of The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), who shared her insights on 'Tech Talent for a Resilient Economy: Strategies to Thrive Amid Global Shifts.'
The event was also graced by the presence of Professor Emerita Datuk Ts. Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah binti Tapsir, FASc., President of MBOT, and Puan Ruziah binti Shafei, Deputy Secretary General (Planning and Science Enculturation), Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. A total of 30 senior executives and C-suite leaders from various sectors participated in the program, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise.
